I think he mentions many reason for preferring DCCDBG. And I highly doubt we are witnessing the end of the popularity of DBG's. If anything, I see people realizing that, even though Dominion was the first, it is not the best DBG out there, and other companies seem to be realizing this as well, as the recent influx of DBG's is at least some of an indication that other companies aren't afraid of the big bad daddy Dominion anymore.
