Have played a bunch of games over the past few days here is my breakdown from our experience from best to worst.Tier 1
Cyborg - He is super-felxible, can get equipment or powers for a bonus, lets you buy the best card on the table, doesn't pigeon-hole you down one path. I think he is the best. He has been strong in every game.
Wonder Woman - Easy Opportunity for big hands to kill supervillans certainly the most consistent, also her attacks will slow other players down.
Tier 2
Aquaman - A beast out of the gate, getting his cards right away can give him a huge edge in the beginning. He trails off towards the end of the game but by that time he usually has a good lead.
Batman - +1 for every equipment is no slouch, the downside is the equipment is often very sought after for either its defensive abilities, deck stacking abilities (the trident) or boss killing abilities (the bow) so it can be hard for him to build up a lot of it. The other downside is that the equipment that is easy for him to get is subpar.
Superman - It was hard to rank him above or below Batman they are really similar Superman can be a beast if the right cards come up for him but again, often those powers are really sought after and others are buying them so often his power is netting you a +2 at most.
Tier 3
Green Lantern - A late game player, by the time his ability is useful you are too far behind. Almost the worst hero of the bunch, you really need some lucky draws to win with this guy.
Flash - The potential for the best hero ever, but often he is completely useless. If he can get an early Kid Flash and Superspeed or a location then he has the chance to dominate, however there is only nine or ten cards in the deck that let you draw cards ON YOUR TURN, which is a huge drawback to his ability. I played with him last night and didn't use his ability once the entire game because others were buying the cards i needed.
