I agree, reviews should always be seen with a grain of salt, and while they may try to be as unbiased as possible, sometimes it's just not possible- that little voice inside says, "I really don't like this game, I don't care if others might like it I don't like it."At the same time, when you see something like DC Comics getting a game treatment, there are some who will defend it to the death, well beyond rational thought. They will excuse any fault, overlook the biggest wart, or simply deny.
Just goes to show, when both sides of the fence can feel that strongly about it, best to try it for yourself first.
