Okay. So what does your SH Power mean? You lose some if you lose against a supervillain, gain some if you win, but what does it do? Is it this variant's equivalent of victory points? An additional source of victory points for the end of the game? Are you out if you lose all of it? What's it do?

My cousins and I were getting bored with the regular way of play. We came up with this idea: SH's have a 'power source', it's what gives them power/stregnth. Like Green Latern and his ring, BM with his gadgets or WW and her bracers/gridle. The cards that are in your deck/hand are a secondary source of power/stregnth (sorta like a side kick).

The difference with the VP's and Super Hero Power is that with SH power you lose/gain it right away (we wanated to simulate real-time battle). Where as with the VP's, you add them up at the end of the game. And yes, you're out once you've depleted your SH power pool. Your super hero is severly weakened/injured or dead.

At the end of the game everyone adds whatever VP's are left. The one with the highest number wins.

In the begining, it was a fairly quick game since we all wanted to try our hand at defeating the Super Villians. As we continued to play, we begain to stratigize a bit better and hold off on going for the big attack on a super vilian.

It has a lot of tweaking left to do but so far we're enjoying it.
