I don't know if we've ever run out. I could see it happening in a 5 player game, but you could always add the Weaknesses back to the stack after they get destroyed instead of removing them from the game.

There are 14 Defense cards and only 9 attacks not including First Appearance from SV's. Of those attacks 1 has lasting impact, 1 has a potential lasting impact and affects the next turn, 1 affects your current hand and 2 affect your next turn. I'd rather see more attacks and see them be more creative than more defenses.
I do like the idea of a different style of Weakness. Ones that do more than just give you -1 pts and clog your deck. Kind of like the Curses in Thunderstone Advanced that have -power and alternate ways to rid them from your deck.
