Larfleeze is cool, but I'm not sure his First Appearance should be an Attack at all. The only reasons I can see as-is for Defending a card in the Line-Up are if you really, really want a given thing (and are willing to take the risk that someone will get to it first) or because you can take Larfleeze IF his cost is reduced by that of a single card AND it's about to be your turn.

Well, I'm going to disagree with you there. I love his Attack. I think the reasons you've outlined are all great reasons to play a Defense. If there's a card there that you really don't want to see destroyed (like the Batcave or the Man of Steel card, for example), you can defend it and still hope to recruit it. Enabling the player to make strategic decisions like that is good game design, IMHO.

I'm less enthralled with the ongoing power of Oa, unfortunately. My first thought was that it just didn't seem to fit thematically. After my second thought, I can see that it sort of fits, but it feels weird and I just think it could be better. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the artwork on the card. It doesn't really look like what I think of as Oa, but I'm probably just not up on how Oa is depicted in current comics.
