I am out of the promo cards for DC, just my personal copy is left.If you need one, try contacting a game store nearby, or having your FLGS contact Cryptozoic for some cards. They very well could have some more left to give out.
My boys love the game, this was sort of the introduction for my 8 year old into these games. And he has really enjoyed most of them. Also tried it today with my 6 year old, he was excited, but obviously it's not quite as easy for him to play. He is more of an Agricola fan.
One of the great things about running this tournament was getting to know a few different people as the weekend went on. I saw Chris and his family a number of times over the weekend, and the same for a bunch of the tournament players, it was a great way to know a few more people during the con. Hope the players enjoyed that social part of the tournament.
