The following custom cards are a first attempt and I was wondering what you guys think of them in terms of theme, balance and originality. I really try hard when designing custom cards to think of power levels, hopefully I haven't done anything to strong here. I also like to add a little bit of interesting strategy into some of the cards, perhaps something that may require some thinking on the player's part
.Green Arrow
The goal here was to emulate the essence of the Green Arrow drawing one arrow after another. The power results in a net of +0 cards to your hand size but allows you to cycle junk or lesser cards out of your hand for potentially better cards.
Raven
This card highlights Raven's manipulation powers. This card can be used in many ways to manipulate the cards in under your control to accomplish your goals. Ways this could be used:
1. Change a card's type in your discard pile so that you can retrieve it with a "Bat Signal", "Robin" or "Man of Steel"
2. Change a card's type in your hand so that when you play it another card's condition will be satisfied such as a location or "High-Tech Hero"
3. Change the cost of the top card of your deck so that you can use it more effectively with cards like "Two-Face" or "Power Ring". In addition you could do the same thing to better set yourself up against an attack like "Poison Ivy"
This card is tricky and could have BIG potential, but lacks a straight advantage early on in the game. To be honest, I think this requires some more thought, but might be on the right track.
Two-Face
This card was a fairly simple straight translation of his main deck counter part with the one change that you MAY discard the card if it isn't what you chose. This will potentially net you an extra card each turn, but even if it doesn't gives you a chance to ditch some cards you don't want on top of your deck.
(I realize the card says "Two Face" and not "Two-Face", I will correct that later
)
