I am looking to discuss theme. Very, as you have seen by my responses (especially recently).It's not just whining. It began with a hard-to-parse theme. It's been parsed, now. It makes sense.
You didn't mention that you didn't want to play a game with Flash getting X-Ray vision! The DC Universe may not be for you, that place is weird. I was responding to the one-resource Power system. "Flash gets X-Ray vision every game" is a much more valid complaint, but I think it was pretty much impossible to avoid. Up there with "I have to wait my turn" as something that's pretty much impossible to prevent without restarting from scratch.
I haven't said anything about intelligence! "Power can be used to build equipment AND to beat up bad guys!? that's horrible!" Is not a very valid complaint.
