I heard Tom's hate for this game, but as a DC fan, i decided to do more research instead of writing it off so quickly. I am glad I did! The deciding factor for me was watching the review, and subsequent playthrough of this game from Crits happen.To have a nice deep overview of the game complete with thoughts of the pros and cons, instead of hasty thoughts about how it isn't deep, or it isn't Marvel, so I hate it type of review, was refreshing. I love the Dicetower, but I think Tom let his inner Marvel fan, and a little bit of elitism, cloud his judgement. I play games to have fun, and that's what this game is.
I'm sorry that DC Deckbuilder didn't try to improve on Dominions gameplay, but look at how many do that everyone seems to hate. You either want the same, or something new, so please don't complain when you get what you want either way lol.
