Tom's not alone here. I believe a LOT of the Legendary love stems from the Marvel love instead of love of the game.

I'm sorry that DC Deckbuilder didn't try to improve on Dominions gameplay, but look at how many do that everyone seems to hate. You either want the same, or something new, so please don't complain when you get what you want either way lol.

Nope, DC isn't improving on anything except speed and ease of play. It's not trying to win the SdJ. It's just trying to be fun.

Legendary I feel has a lot less player interaction.

Which is pretty funny when you consider that Legendary would like you to think it's a co-op.

Oh, and here's another random thought on the theme. I'm not about to say that the DC game is incredibly strong on theme, but one thematic "flaw" that often gets brought up is that the players represent different members of the JLA yet they are fighting against one another. I can't believe that anybody who's read a comic book can fuss about that and keep a straight face. How many times have we seen mind-controllers/magic artifacts/secret wars/etc etc cause heroes to compete against one another? Can you get through a year in comics when that doesn't happen at LEAST once?
