I haven't purchased the expansion yet but hope to as well as hope that they someday release the promo cards in a pack or something!
Funny however that I was thinking of a game variant similar to this for the original deck. You would pick out a set number of locations and matching number of super villains. Shuffle both sets independently and draw them as pairs. Each location would get its own deck of "city" cards as well and would set up per standard solitaire with 5 cards progressing to destroy. The locations would be organized top to bottom depending on super villains cost. Play would proceed from bottom to top with locations being acquired and cleared once a super villain was defeated. the location would automatically go into effect for the player on clearing.
I would think that the turns would be similar to the original weakness turn clock as you would still have as many Super villains.
Again, I thought this up and haven't played it but I think it would be fun to have the super hero have to fight through all the super villains in locations as well. I just wish they had an official hall of Doom card to put at the top with Joker or whomever you always saw as the lead villain in the DC world.
Nice read 7 of 8.

Thanks Agen7_0range.
I don't have the new set either but I'm looking forward to getting it mainly for the new Villains, Super Villains and Locations. I like the heroes but I could really could careless about how the cards combine to make super combos. (From all the reviews I read and watched, the crazy combos make for a potential "runaway leader" situation.)
This means I will be mixing my decks on the regular...while battling across the various Locations.
