I too have thought of this idea (I called them Final Super-Villains) and I posted about it on the main Cryptozoic forums and was met with a positive response, but several problems were brought to light.

The biggest issue brought up, that hadn't even crossed my mind, was that no one would want to get to the last Super-Villain. Since that card is so powerful (and rightfully so), players would rather let the main deck run out than risk going against the final Super-Villain. Several really good suggestions were given to adjust this problem:

-When there are half or less cards remaining in the Main Deck, the FSV (Final Super-Villain) immediately triggered.

-A Weakness is shuffled into the Main Deck. When that Weakness is revealed for any reason (placed in Line-Up or cards like Shazam!, Riddler, Sinestro...) the FSV is triggered.

-If a player gains 20 (or whatever number you pick) Power or more in a single turn, the FSV is triggered.

And I suggested that the FSV was voluntary. After the last SV is defeated, you may choose to fight the FSV and continue playing the game or not fight the FSV and start counting up your points while the other players continue playing.
