Jose,

I can't argue that Sentinels is more thematic. It really is and if I want to play as a "superhero" that is my game of choice. It can get a bit repetitive though. Each hero has it's mode of playing and you can almost see that mindset sink in after several plays. Also, there's a tipping point in the game where you can tell the team is going to win and you just have to play it out. Still, it is much more strategic than DC.

What I will stand by with DC is its marked simplicity, quick, fun-natured aspect of deck building. It's something I can bring out and play and we can have fun talking about it later. Just last night I introduced it to my brother. He was amazed when my nine-year old daughter parlayed a combo into 16 power. Or how I was able to get 11 power off three cards with Green Lantern. Or how in the end he took the victory using Cyborg and three different locations. That's just fun. And I do like my games, like my superheroes, to be fun.
