After each game the characters get a score, such that first = 1 and last = 0, with the other placings a fraction depending on the number of players.

I'm interested in knowing more about the bold part above. Could you explain how much of that fraction do you assign?

In this 'fraction', you weight the number of players, but you do not weight the number of super-villains (unless you always play against the same amount), that is, the game length.

I will explain myself. I'm quite new to DCDBG, but I've noticed that some Superheroes perform better depending on game's length (= number of supervillains involved).

For example, Aquaman has very quick starts, so he can perform awesome in short games (I'm not saying that he cannot in longer games). On the other side, Green Lantern requires the game to extend in order to trigger his ability, so in short games (6-8 Supervillains) he may not fully explode his power. Again, there are lots of villains in the deck, so WonderWoman can benefit from it a lot, drawing more cards than others while disrupting the foe's game with villain's attacks. On the contrary, in a long game if she cumulates to many villains her deck won't have much power. Other super-heroes are more situational and may have faster or lower starts depending on line-ups (Flash, Batman, Supes).
