Looking at Thrall, it seems to me his ability would trigger from playing magics (superpowers) rather than creatures (villains?) since he is a ele shaman and not a summoner. The closest he gets to summons would be totems, which are more equipment or magic than creatures.

When looking at the classes, his current ability would work well for a WoW Hero who is a hunter, warlock or death knight since they regularly and rather consistently call upon creatures (pets, minions and undead) to assist them.

Equipment abilities would work well with rogues, hunters, warriors and possibly monks since they are heavily gear-centric by design. (Yes, monks favor fists, but I think most get my point that they tend towards weapons such as staffs over magics or summons.)

It would seem punches, kicks and vulnerabilities would be able to stay the same, but weaknesses would become "afflictions" or "curses" or something else that conveys the idea of an status ailment.
