I personally don't have a problem with Suicide Squads negative effect against opponents. Sometimes even discarding 2-3 cards from other attacks makes you generate too little power to buy anything anyway. It basically skips all opponent's turns and let's you take another turn. Because it's also a little more difficult to pull off, it ends up being like a reward for your deck building(basically, you earn the effect).Compare that to Kyle Rayner's "you win the game" effect. Boy, that is brutal when it sneaks up against you.(usually influenced by the Super Villain that grabs all your equipment in your discard pile)
