True. The primary distinction (apart, again, from the strong possibility that you'll annoy your fellow players by making them ditch a hand that they had plans for) is that they won't have any cards in hand to defend against any Supervillain attacks, but nor will they have any cards in hand to be vulnerable to same, if that matters.
