Gold doesn't represent 3 coins, it represents an income of 3 coins per time you go through your deck.Power isn't just "wham, bam", it's also currency, ability to learn, et cetera. It's a very general term that includes "all stuff you're good at." Punches are kind of a weak name for them, I'll give you that, but so is "Copper", or "Longspear". It should be "minor income" and "factory of longspears".
So Batman's power is that he's really smart and a good fighter. He can use Power to buy equipment or defeat opponents. The type of Power it was originally is decided by what you're doing with it more than anything else.
And yes, Batman can use superpowers because that's how the DC universe works. He's not good at it, but in some stories, weird things happen. Look at Jimmy Olsen. Just that in this story, sometimes they happen to main characters.
