Simply put, the idea is that there should be at least one undefendable attack in the game otherwise attacks become less dangerous because there is always the possibility to defend against them. But an undefendable can't be too easy to pull off, or it becomes a game breaker.

So, the undefendable requires three cards be played together in one round by the same player. This requires the player to:

1) Wait for three of the same card to appear in the line-up
2) Manage to buy the cards from the line-up before they are taken, hate-draft or destroyed by another player
3) Wait until all three cards are in their deck.
4) Manage to pull all three cards in one hand and keep them until their next turn without losing one to an attack from another player.

Thus, it is stronger than the other attacks at the other table and cannot be blocked, but it requires enough work to pull off that doing it warrants the reward of knowing it will hit.
