I believe that the Green Lantern is actually under powered. It takes a while early in the game to get the differently named cards since the initial cards don't count. Then, when you do acquire them, the bonus you get from his power is very underwhelming. Having played the game many times I believe that Wonder Woman is the most overpowered, especially when coupled with certain equipment and location cards. Extra draws during your turn after already starting with an extra card or two allow you to acquire HP quicker and rapidly build a strong deck. Since Super Villains are villain cards, WW not only gets additional cards to start her next turn after acquiring villain cards but after defeating super villains. Also, the villain cards tend to have considerable VP value at the end of the game.
