My set won't be arriving until tomorrow so I haven't had a chance to experience the game yet, but just in terms of character affiliations, I'm a huge Flash fan (specifically Wally West, but it appears this present set skews towards the New 52 despite some legacy art creeping in from before the reboot).I wouldn't mind an entire Speed Force / Flash Legacy / Rogues / etc. themed expansion focusing on the Flash as built up in the past twenty years.
Along those lines, I'm curious how far back they're "allowed" to reach back. Superman's red briefs appear in some cards, but DC has presently "banned" them even from out-of-continuity titles like Superman Family Adventures.
Does the license have to follow present-day DC editorial mandates meaning we will never see characters like Cassandra Cain, Wally West, etc.?

In terms of post New 52 themes, I wouldn't mind a DC Ages set- amalgamating all the period titles / heroes that don't necessarily get play in the contemporary DCU... therefore the Demon Knights, Jonah Hex, The Legion of Superheroes, etc. characters from the ancient past and distant future.
Another easy theme is Magic DCU- Justice League Dark, Swamp Thing, etc.
