I like a lot of your ideas. In particular, deck-building games with this level of simplicity NEED to have a mechanism where you can destroy cards in the line-up. That's the one mechanic of Ascension which raises it above pure randomness (I'm exaggerating here, but I do think it's the most important strategic element of the game). I'm disappointed to hear that there aren't more ways to mess with your opponent in DCtDBG.↧
