Awesome. All cards are sized correctly and ready for printing. If you want each card posted individually so you can load them to some of the more printing sites, please let me know.

Hello everyone!

As a big fan of Cryptozoic's deckbuilding game, I took on the task on designing my own. Using the flavor of Dragon Ball Z seemed like a no-brainer, so about a month ago I took on the project. About a week ago I released it to the public Tabletop Simulator workshop, and I thought I would share this with those who might be interested!

The main new mechanic is a new resource called Power Level. As you gain this resource, you will gain more powerful abilities, or you can use this power level to 'empower' your attacks and make them much stronger. This makes for an interesting resource management style game.

Sampler Imgur album: http://imgur.com/a/RM5pz

In the Dragon Ball Z Deckbuilding Game: Frieza Saga, you take on the role of Goku,
Vegeta, or as one of their allies or enemies in the struggle for the iconic Dragon Balls!

In Dragon Ball Z, the name of the game is powering up your fighter and blasting your foes with all your might! With new mechanics that allow you to increase your power level, will you use this new resource to gain new and more powerful abilities? Or will you spend it to devastate your opponents with boosted attacks? The choice is yours with new strategies never before seen in a deckbuilding game. Who will come out on top in the end?

Unique Features include:

Evolving Fighters. As you gain Power Level, your fighters will grow stronger and reach new forms, learning new abilities and opening up new strategies.

A 'kicker' mechanic. Use this new Power Level to also give your attacks and utility cards an extra boost to devastate your foes.

A main deck filled with more varied card types, keeping the experience more personal and flavorful. (Not half the deck or more being Heroes and Villians)

Unique strategies previously unexplored. Such as sacrificing and reviving allies from out of play, beneficial weakness cards/fighters, or deck manipulation combos!

The idea of powering up your main character is appealing. Is there a core way to do that, or just what's printed on these cards?

Are the little bean icons meant to indicate cost?

Yes, the beans are cost.

One of the starter cards is a Power Up card that increases your power level by one to replace one of the vulnerability cards.

Okay, so the more extra cards you get (without thinning, obviously), the slower you'll power up. That's kind of cool.

There are some solo-variants floating around these forums.
But as-is the game is designed for multiplayer.

Each one works best with the set it has replacement superheroes for for use in Crisis Co-op/Solo

Eh.

Crisis 1 isn't all that related to its base set, the 'theme' of both was pretty lacking (as these are the first sets, that's understandable).

Crisis 2 itself has a strong theme, but it's closest set (Heroes Unite) is lacking in theme, so...eh.

Crisis 3 and Forever Evil were most definitely designed with each other in mind.

Well done cards and concepts. This is very enjoyable. Not a fan of DBZ but I'm familiar with the property and enjoy what you have done with the concept.

Inspired by the original custom ideas of Stu Anderson (andjosh05 https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1056972/marvel-expansion-av) and others in the variant section. I decided to add-on to the Marvel characters with character specific theme mini expansions instead of trying to make big boxed sets.

This is for entertainment purposes only. Not to be sold. All art work and characters belong to Marvel comics and the respective creators.

The third and final (as of now) installment for the Kaiju Collections. The set up for this custom Rivals set is different than the original. Its meant to be shuffled into the regular main deck. To be played from the main deck. So this way it doesn't have to be just a 2 player game. Suggested set up is for every player beyond 2 print one more of all the Super Powers and equipment. The reason why? The Kaiju Super Powers are made to synergistically work with the Kaiju cards.

This brings us to the first page

Part III: Page 1

Since this is a Rivals set, its based around the Equipment vs Super Powers. This is the Super Powers. There is one more Escaping Civilian on this page to bring their total to 5 for the custom set.

Part III: Page 2

Next to Godzilla there has been one Kaiju, among fans, who is synonymous with saving mankind not hurting us. That name is Gamera, Guardian of the Universe. Also on the sheet are his enemies with the Ascend abilities as well as his archnemesis, Gayos. Also in a special guest appearance, making their first Deck Building game, Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot. These guys are monster and Kaiju fighters from the Dark Horse series of the same name. Written by Frank Miller and Geoff Darrow. They are built to be a nemesis when played against opponent or a help when bought.

Part III: Page 3

Although I started making this mini expansion in April before the announcement of King Kong vs Godzilla. This third page was made in response to the announcement of the mega movie. Included on the page is more of Godzilla's gallery of rogues as well as the King of Skull Island himself, Kong. Kong's villains aren't worth mentioning. If your response to me saying that is "the planes" than use the Military and SHEILD to represent the planes that took down Kong.

Part III: Page 4

Ultra-Man makes his Deck builder game debut and I couldn't be happier. His special power is to reflect the fact that he has limited time to be Ultra-Man and battle Kaiju.

I had a lot of fun putting this together. As always your feedback is welcomed.

There are some user-made (homebrew) variants for the game here on BGG.

As for Crisis, I'd say the first two could be used with just about any set (except Forever Evil) with little or no mechanical difference. Like Grarrg said, Crisis 3 was most definitely built with Forever Evil in mind, even though it does have rule changes listed for implementation with other sets.

Note that the Crisis games can drag out quite a bit, so if you want to finish a game without more than 2 hours invested, I'd suggest trimming the main deck to about 100 cards and putting in a few less Crisis + Supervillain cards than the manual suggests.

Yes. This is text lifted directly from a card in the game to cut down on unrecignizable or inconsistent writing.

Is there something wrong about what was written? If there a correction that needs to be made?

You can't discard something that's already in your discard pile.

To what? Just "discard a card"? Or did you mean "destroy a card"? (which would be wayyyyy too good at this cost)
Or, if I'm getting the idea of what you're aiming for, maybe:

"You may discard a card.
If there are any cards with cost 0 in your discard pile, gain 1 VP."

Thank you for pointing out my mistake.

It's was suppose to be "destroy a card" but I don't think I had corrected the points on this card before posting. Your suggested correction actually works better than my original thinking. It's different and works better conceptually than making a high priced card for a loud scream. Although the Kaiju cards are suppose to be high priced to reflect the size and scale of the size and battle, this card probably shouldn't be anymore than a 3 cost.

The change has been made and I will repost that card.

I have been looking for card sleeves for both the oversided heroes and villains cards with 0 luck. Has anyone found some? If so, where and what size? Thanks!
