I agree. Games that are, both, cooperative and competitive start to feel a little schizophrenic after a while. You're never really sure whether you won or not.
Still, I like Legendary. It works much better than most. We try to play cooperatively, until we see the win is at hand. Then, we switch to competitive - which often "sets back" the cooperative agenda.
