My friends and I have been trying some houserules to make Flash better.
I tried the previously mentioned option of letting him draw an extra card on defense cards. That seemed to get out of hand pretty quickly one Flash got a lot of card drawing abilities.
We've pretty much settled on a simpler bonus of just giving Flash a static +1 power each turn in addition to his other 2 powers. Gives him a quicker start (which is pretty thematic for Flash) and seems to be pretty balanced. It has let him snag a couple of good cards earlier than other people but doesn't ever get too ridiculous.
