I've never been very good with the Flash, and I'd say I'm pretty good at the game. I tend to play in large groups, though, and it sounds like some of the people posting about wins are posting about small groups. I usually play with 5 players. One of my friends has done pretty decently with Flash, though. If I had to name one key to his success I would say that it would be location cards. He gets any and all of the ones he can get his hands on. What I've noticed, though, is that he either destroys everybody or gets destroyed himself. There seems to be no middle ground with flash. That seems consistent with what others are posting on here.
I've recently been thinking strategy with Flash because I'd say he's by far my worst Super Hero, and I think I'm going to start prioritizing power more. I always felt the pressure to get the draw a cards while I could, but if you have nothing to draw into then draw a cards don't really matter. I think that's why locations work so well. When you get them out then you can draw 2 cards AND get power or an ability off of whatever played to trigger the location.
In conclusion, my recommendation is that you prioritize locations.
