I'm a GI Joe fan myself, and if I had to choose a publisher, I'm a DC fan over Marvel. I love the Justice League, Superman, Flash, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc.

I strongly dislike the X-men, Ghostrider, and Blade.

I like both games.

Legendary is the better game for overarching theme. The game tells a story. There is a chance you could all lose. There is panic and urgency in Legendary. There is a LOT more variety in Legendary.

DC Deck-building game is simpler to set up and to clean up. For that reason, and because I like DC characters better, the DC Deck-builder gets as much play as Legendary in my house.

My favorite IP is GI Joe. I'd buy any GI Joe deck-builder they made, and I'd probably argue the merits of it over other systems, in an attempt to increase the popularity of the game and ensure it gets plenty of expansions. So I see where fans of either comic company are coming from.

But from an outsider's perspective, if I have the time, I'd rather play Legendary.
