I just bought this game today, and I think it's awesome! I have heard the negatives, like a bad theme, gameplay is too simple, etc. I don't see it. I love the simplicity, and quick play! The theme is not as disconnected as people make it seem.
I am a DC fan, and that's why I chose this as my first deckbuilder to add to my collection. The art is tremendous, the powers are cool, and if it is too simple for some people, then I feel bad for them. This is a great game, and it has opened me up to the possibility of adding more deckbuilders to my game shelf. I will definitely be getting DC Comics Deck-Building Game: Heroes Unite!

mee too +1
the bads reviews are based upon the fact the game isn´t nothing new to the deckbuilding games, it´s like a rethemed Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer.
But the game by itself it´s pretty good, simple to be light playable, but with few flaws like the game could stall by itself or isn´t really balanced (since aquaman is great and cyborg is meh)
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Deck-Building Game is the same game with another theme, but with an improvement in the game mechanics, hero unite should include that to make the game better. (like the trap cards)
im waiting for heroes unite.
