People that come to Board Game Geek and write about there opinions on games they never played ticks me off.People like the OP who have played the game and write nice reviews makes up for that so I keep coming back. Even when I dont 100% agree with what he says in the review.
For the non-playing judgers, please stop talking. Just go out find a friend that has this game and play it. You will find that the theme is there and the cards interact the way you think they would.
It plays faster and has more player interaction then Ascension. Which I like for a game like this. I sometime felt that Ascension could drag on are stall out. This new system fixes that.
Since I never played the Marvel game I can say anything about it but what I can see is, its a different game. Sure its a deck builder but its goes about it a different way. In fact I can see reason to own both. Marvel for when you want a longer game with a coop feel and DC when you want a short race to the end.
