People that come to Board Game Geek and write about there opinions on games they never played ticks me off.
People like the OP who have played the game and write nice reviews makes up for that so I keep coming back. Even when I dont 100% agree with what he says in the review.

Thanks. I hope that my review didn't come across bashing this game, because I did have SOME fun playing, mostly because I love DC. It's not a horrible game. It is just a simple game. Perhaps it is just me, because I've been looking for good hero games for 25+ years as a way to immerse myself into the properties I enjoy.
I'll be happy to clarify my review if people think it is coming across as overly negative or ignoring the favorable aspects.

Since I never played the Marvel game I can say anything about it but what I can see is, its a different game. Sure its a deck builder but its goes about it a different way. In fact I can see reason to own both. Marvel for when you want a longer game with a coop feel and DC when you want a short race to the end.
Your last line there about "Short race to the end" is very accurate I think. This game is at its core a fast race against your opponents.
