This is my exact house rule on Flash except for the draw on defense cards. And I got the same reaction when proposing it to veteran DC Comics players (who, nevertheless, never want to play Flash because his printed version is so terrible). After many plays winning and losing with this change, it IS balanced and makes Flash actually fun to play.


Great minds think alike, Don! We're glad you have come to the same conclusion that we have with The Flash. It's also nice to hear from someone else who has play-tested this sort of improvement. Any sort of big change seems like it might break the game, but only by trying it out extensively can you truly form an educated opinion.

What other sorts of adjustments have you made as you learned more about the game?
